The purpose of the Testnet is to showcase the functionality of the ECC protocol, and not a representation of companies association with or accepting of payments via ECC. Features shown in the Testnet are not guarantees that these features will be available at launch, nor that any merchants accepting ECC payments will enable a particular feature.
You can access the Testnet via the navigation menu. Once you are logged in, you will have access to a series of pre-generated payment options as well as a link to create your own test payments. All Testnet payments are handled on a private fork of the Bitcoin Testnet. We have chosen to do this as it allows greater control of the blockchain so we can reset the network from time to time (if needed by development).
